Isa Reynolds needed to get her deadbeat roommate out of her apartment. Going to court, she never expected to see Chris Harlett, the lawyer from Legal Aid, to help out in person. When he helps her win the case easily she wants to thank him with dinner. She also is very attracted to him and wants to spend more time with him.
Chris Harlett didn't normally go to court but there was something about Isa's voice and situation that made him want to meet her. As soon as he looked at her, he knew he had made the right decision. Agreeing to go to dinner with her was an even easier one. There was something about her that made him want to be around her as much as he could and show her what a great man he can be for her. If only he can convince her of the same thing.
